Yes, I can think of plenty of all-white churches I knew growing up in which these black, Latino, or Asian "Brothers and Sisters in Christ" would not be welcome to attend the church on a regular basis. If they visit once a year to talk about the good work being done for Christ in their communities that might be OK, although among some older members even that might make them uncomfortable. I have relatives who have told my wife and I that we need to go back to "our kind of churches" so we can be around "like-minded people", a term I hate. We're still Christians, but not fundamentalists. I know people that are still suspicious of Mainline Protestant churches like Episcopalians and Presbyterians, much less Catholics, Jews, Muslims, etc.

This is pretty harsh towards vultures. They play a pretty important and undervalued role in ecosystems.

Amen to this. My suburban neighborhood used to be a ranch and hunting area. Vultures have been there for several decades and still come out to clean up every now and then. They're valued members of the community.

So? Racial, ethnic, and religious heirarchies have always been manufactured by ruling classes to divide the lower classes and discourage them from uniting in revolt. Whether or not you're genuinely a racist, or "white supremacist" is irrelevant - the political philosophy you espouse results in racial acrimony, because the subterfuge you undertake to mask your motives is racially, ethnically, and religious based.
 
Example: Why do we wage endless interventionist war in the middle east? Not because we hate Muslims, but because Islamic sectarianism interferes with "our" economic interests in the middle east. Could we ever admit that? Hell no. We have to pretend to be world police.
 
13 of the 14 Dems running in the 5th district in PA showed up to try to get the endorsement of the Delco Dems last night, but no one got the 55% of votes needed.

Why it matters that the Delco Dems aren't endorsing anyone in Pa.'s Fifth Congressional District

Interestingly (to me anyway), part of the reason that Jim Kenney won the primary for mayor in Philadelphia is because some wealthy guys in the suburbs spent millions on behalf of his opponent, which caused backlash in the city. Now Kenney has endorsed a Philly political insider for Congress in a largely suburban district, and the powers that be in Philly Dem politics are going to spend millions on that guy's campaign.

Pretty much- a guy I know who voted for Trump pretty much conceded Trump's a douche but basically said, "I got my tax break and my Supreme Court justice, so I'm good".
 
 
How is that Farenthold shade?

I'm mad they won't allow her to change diapers or nurse on the Senate floor. Pretty messed up to force a disabled veteran mom to get up and walk outside to take care of her baby's basic bodily functions.
