Danny Manning Credibility Watch

I'd love to know what the buyout clause looks like. Surely we aren't on the hook for paying Manning for 6 more years guaranteed.
 
College coach contracts are typically extremely weighted toward the benefit of the coach rather than the school paying him. I would bet the contract puts Manning at ease every time he thinks about it, and every time we lose a game or player - each coming with a frequency not befitting a coach with a fucking 6 year contract extension.

So he didn't even do it before the season started. Wellman waited for Danny to get off to the worst start in program history, then signed him to a 6 year deal. I hate that man so very very much.
 
This really is the low point. Aren’t you embarrassed for the first time ever to be a Wake Forest alum? Losing is fine. Losing with class is fine. Losing when you have no game plan, when your players don’t like being part of the team, & doubling down on a lazy loser & doing absolutely nothing about it when it’s obvious parting ways is inevitable? That’s not acceptable. Those presently in charge are not being good stewards.
 
Miller or Kelsey are right there for the taking this April. Kelsey getting passed for a 32 year old at Xavier gives us the perfect chance. He’d come back now.

Three weeks ago you said Kelsey was going to be hired by X the next day. Then you followed that up by stating your post contained “only facts.” You sure have a knack for being wrong.

Kelsey was one of two clear favorites for the job. Did you not follow it. I wish I was wrong more often because the check I had to write today sucked.
 
Ron Wellman last posted on twitter in December. He has 488 followed—almost half of which follow me. What’s wrong with us? This is our school. Our team. We are complete losers because we choose to be.

Why is that? They are part of our college and they are making horrific decisions. Grown ass adults fix shit. Broke ass pathetic losers accept crappy decisions from those they care about and do not rock the boat. Thus they end up broke and pathetic. Like Wake Forest basketball at present.
