Is he projected to be a 2nd rounder this year?

His name was definitely mentioned as a potential first rounder last season. He had 10+ sacks.
 
I never heard Duke get serious first round consideration. I don't think his stock slipped much.
 
It’s hard to say on draft Friday afternoon a guy who was never a first round prospect as a junior who didn’t go through the process a year ago actually slipped.

If he was a 1st or 2nd round pick last, he would have justifiably declared.
 
Ecstatic that the Giants chose to think short term and pass on Darnold so my Jets can pick him up. I believe the decision will turn out to be ill advised.

Tony is the greatest TE ever...

You are forgetting guys like Kellen Winslow, Dave Casper and John Mackey.

Gates, Newsome and Ditka were better than Witten.

Witten was a great TE, but not in their league.
 
I've always thought Witten was sort of overrated. No way he's a top 3 TE all time.

Mike Ditka is a HoF TE, but he only played with Dallas at the end of his career.
