Wake Forest Football Recruiting

Welcome CHASE!—young man with the great LB name.

On paper this class is really the best ever at Good Old Wake Forest. This class may very well have the staying power that some of the other good ones missed out on. If Clawson will make it to their senior year, we’re in for a very impressive ride at GOWF.
 
Another solid pickup by the coaches. Chose wake over offers from vandy, Rutgers, Duke, Syracuse, and UVA. Once he fills out his frame, he’ll be a good one down the road. These are battles we need to win against other p5 programs and I this year the staff is proving they can do it.
 
Interesting that they have him listed as an ILB. He plays WR for his HS and seems to have good wheels. Also, most of his defensive higlights are defending the pass. Looks a lot more like an OLB to me, but who knows. Looks like a great pickup.

Maybe even a future rover. With speed he has multiple possibilities.

Can't think of many Jersey kids that have played football at Wake. Jyles Tucker is the only one that comes to mind.
 
Man we have some talented young LB’s in the fold. Chase Jones, Jaylen Hudson, Ryan Smenda and Jacorey Johns. Future looks to be fun
 
Just heard that Wake commit Will Smart will visit unc this weekend for their cookout event
 
Meh. It’s free food. He’s a Smart kid.
