Towson

I think the line is fine. I think Bassey is a good corner and Henderson too when healthy. Nobody really thought we’d lose Bates after 2 years. To me the biggest recruiting lack on defense seems to be linebacker right now.

Remember, we have at least two LBs (Burley and Monroe) that are out for the whole season. As for the secondary, we need to get Glenn and Henderson back healthy, and then hope that Wade keeps getting better with experience.

Yeah. I’m not too worried about the defense especially with an explosive offense.

We aren’t particularly good this year.

WTF?? We are 2-0, with starting LT, WR, FS, CB out, playing true frosh QB learning as he goes but with 4 TOs. We sure aren't great but these kids are a good team playing in one of the 2 toughest divisions in CFB.

Jessie Bates = John Collins

Did Bachman or Dortch get any recognition on the recap shows?

Excellent postgame pc from Clawson again. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pFLfd_KVExQ

Despite the big margin, I love that he was not happy. At all. Great coaches are almost never satisfied with their teams performance. Always less than perfection, and many times much worse. Coaches like that will never let a team believe they can't improve their performance and will always be coaching them up.

Claw is such a good coach. No sugar coating about his otherwise really impressive young QB not holding onto the football. Some coaches would say something like "he'll learn that [holding onto the ball] in time," but Claw says "Sam is loose with the football."

The team will improve on defense and ball security.

I see deaconbd has returned to his "personna".

Can't remember his name but Towson ded have a DLineman that was just stellar. He could play just about anywhere, true stud

I love that we held the ball for 12 of the last 17 minutes of the game with only one clock stopping pass attempt.. Way to take the air out of the ball and hope of a comeback for Towson.

This is where I’m at.

The point is that they haven't played anybody in one of the toughest divisions in CFB. They've played a middling-to-good AAC team and an FCS team that was picked to finish 10th in a 12-team league.

The point is that the mistakes they're making now become further magnified against any team from the Atlantic Division and Notre Dame.

Solid W, but the D is going to have to improve for this team to reach bowl eligibility.

Dortch is 12th in receiving yards. Surrat is 25th.

I wonder where Greg is for all purpose yards.

FWIW, Tulane dominated Nichols State yesterday 42-17. Before thinking WGAF, Nichols State is always one of the best FCS teams in the country, and last week, Nichols State won at Kansas (Kansas crushed C. Michigan yesterday). Tulane is a solid team. At the end of the year, the win at Tulane will look better than it does now.

And Towson just a few years removed from playing for national championship I don't care what anybody says I bet you they finish top three or four of their league
