And she could have remained anonymous while the FBI investigated if they handed over the letter to the FBI when they received it instead of going public 2 months later with the allegations. Instead they chose to use a probable sexual abuse victim for politics, shameful, truly shameful.

How would she remain anonymous during an FBI investigation?
 
CNN just made a huge point I was thinking earlier, which is this guy has been insanely partisan. That's another reason folks need to walk away from this guy. I've never seen anything like this in a confirmation hearing. Most of them focus upon judicial choices, your view of legal theory, etc. This was just bombastic.
 
The SCOTUS is already close to broken. Putting this guy on the court, after the show he put on today, will probably permanently wreck whatever remaining faith any American has in the SCOTUS as a neutral arbiter. Everybody in the country is going to remember him yelling at the Democrats and that is going to be replayed every time he casts the 5th vote striking down a Democratic priority. That will make 49% of the country happy and 49% of the country mad, but no one in their right mind will be able to believe that Kavanaugh is just up there calling balls and strikes.

If the Pubs put him on the court I hope the Democrats run on a SCOTUS overhaul platform.

You’re describing exactly why Pubs will love him. If he’s not confirmed, he’ll be their Alamo and you’ll hear about him more than Bork.

The Dems don't have the backbone to do it and it's insane to hold a seat open for two years even under an over-powered McConnell rule theory
 
Short of punching a Dem Senator, I can't imagine how Kavanaugh could show himself to be a more of a mean drunk than he has today.
