You can tell Kavanaugh is willing for an FBI investigation to happen but can't ask for it bc he knows the GOP would go ape shit. And he's right about what would come out of the investigation - no conclusions. Still should happen.

He is so reluctant to just admit that he got shit faced drunk all the time. Just admit it.

He said it, yes, but I've taken it out of context and didn't include the necessary ellipsis. He just paused really awkwardly after the word "come" and the phrasing made me laugh.

Wrong. Klobuchar is asking him directly to ask for the FBI investigation to be re-opened. He keeps saying no. This guy is desperately trying to avoid the FBI looking into these allegations. That's pretty interesting.
 
So they didn’t talk to the lady but they are talking to the man. Seems like great optics.

No he's not. He and the GOP know if they let an FBI investigation happen it will delay the confirmation process until after midterms and kill any chance he had of being confirmed.

If dems wanted a FBI investigation they would have asked for it when they got the letter. Everything now is pure optic politicing.

I was ready to agree with DeacMan prior to Klobuchar's questioning.

Also, the whole "have you , Senator?" is a horrible look.

Peak density. Democrats desperately wanted a situation where a bunch of old white men were questioning ford about sexual abuse. Republicans didn't give it to them so they move on to something else to bitch about.
