I had one of these when I was a youth. Freaking gross. It had gotten so big/deep/infected that the normally-quick surgery took like 2 hours. Healed up pretty quick at least.
 
Saw a woman carrying a McDonald's happy meal just now. I just about forgot those existed. Do they still have set action figures and transformers (McDonald's food, not Optimus Prime) inside?

I used to like the October ones because they usually came in some kind of trick-or-treat bucket thing (was that the toy or did it also include a toy?)
 
U of Delaware continuing to uphold its reputation as #1 party school. 174 students arrested and ticketed for underage drinking at one party last weekend. That will keeps the courts busy for a while.
 
My son goes to KU, and he said they have cracked down BIG TIME this year. Thanks, Trump.

Spooky. My son has an Optimus Prime happy meal toy from a week or two ago.
 
I saw a solitary fox cross my path last week on the Cape, which is supposed to be good luck and a harbinger of receiving a windfall of some sort (I did not win the lottery). Then, later in the same drive back to the city, I heard on the radio a story about crime throughout generations of families. The reporter was named Fox Butterfield, and the main subject was this dad called Rooster Bogle, and I thought all that was sort of odd.
