Barclay should start looking at homes in the area if Brohm wants to leave Purdue and go back to Louisville.
Brohm at UL would be great for UL, not great for everyone else.
so if you're Louisville do you shoot Petrino this week, or knowing that Clemson is going to destroy you next week make him stay through that? rest of the season? (admittedly don't know the buyout situation) --
Clemson vs. Louisville defense woof. They could score 100.
also the Adidas logo in the empty stadium was a wonderful scarlet letter. FBI logo would have been better, but.....

"If UL were to fire Bobby Petrino, during or shortly after this season, they would owe him north of $14 million. A current contract that runs through 2023 states that if Petrino were to be fired without cause, the athletic department would have to pay him his guaranteed money for the remainder of the current year, as well as his guaranteed money for the next 3 years.
A settlement paid to Jurich for being fired without cause and a large sum paid to Xavier to buyout current head basketball coach Chris Mack has left the athletic department short on funds. Not to mention the currently unsettled lawsuit with former head coach Rick Pitino."
Purdue also is a better program historically than Louisville
Not sure why we want him to be fired. They may actually hire someone competent.
Hasn’t worked out so well for us with Bowden to Dabo.
thanks -- kinda enjoy the thought of him having to watch his team play Clemson.

Isn't the awfulness of the football team that he leads "cause" enough to fire him?

Agree.
He could be fired with cause.
1. He's a loser on the field
2. He's a sleezy person of ill-repute off the field.
3. His association with UL damages its reputation
4. He was soundly beaten by Wake Forest 2 years in a row.
