Records against in state opponents (including FCS) since 2000

WFU: 40-21 .655
NCSU: 36-22 .620
UNC: 32-30 .516
Duke: 24-34 .413

Pretty much speaks for itself.
 
Prob not the correct thread, but only 3 ACC teams have beaten NCSU in the past two seasons - Clemson (2), Wake (2), Cuse. Tiers.
 
WF won the NC state championship again this year:

WF 2-0
State 1-1
Duke 1-1
NC 0-2

(kind of glad that WF played the Apps on the road last year).
 
App and NCSU will both be tough games next year. I expect us to be better than this year and take them both. Back to back to back state champs.
 
WF hosts App in 2020.


WF's OOC games next year are:

UNC, Utah State and Elon at home

At Rice.

Yep, and right now it's scheduled for a Friday night in early September. I'm thinking this will be one of our top 10 all -time for home attendance, and close to 100% in black/gold.

This all goes back to the great SkinsNNeers debacle of December 2007 (2008?) when he insisted on using possessive pronouns to describe his relationship to App. Because of this horrible incident we're just a little trigger happy. Deacs first, my man.

When I'm on here it's always Deacs first. I went incognito last year when Wake took the trip to Boone. If you ever see me on here saying "we, us, and our" in reference to App please come at me hard.
 
All the more impressive when you consider that we didn't get to play Wake Forest over that period.

Yeah, it's not like Wake has a big Walmart bandwagon fanbase. You have to really be a masochist to be a non-alum fan.

ECU is 1-0 and has a game against State this weekend. That also makes UNC-CH 0-3.
