I don't think that Oats and Musselman's use of transfers at their schools should be at all a disqualifying factor, and I find it really hard to believe they'd adopt the same tactics at a major conference school.
It's a question you ask in the interview if they are willing to adjust, and if they're not then fine, move on down the road. But it seems like they're just doing what needs to be done to win at a high level at the schools they're currently at.
Beyond that I fail to see why people like Oats and Matta are not "realistic" for Wake. The really top-shelf jobs aren't available with regularity, so in all likelihood those guys are going to wind up a notch down at their next Power 6 job
