Wellman always sits down with all coaches at end of season to review what went on, this is frequently when terminations occur, he needs to do this tonite or at the latest tomorrow morning.

There is nothing to "review" and it is no secret "what went on." Manning is not now and never has been suited to be a head coach at this level. His tenure has been an ongoing fiasco and for the sake of Wake basketball he needs to be released today. If Wellman wants to tell him in person, fine. Just do it.
