LOL. There was almost as much Zion as UVa in One Shining Moment.

They don’t even bother putting the Final in it anymore.
 
A great championship game. Both teams tough and disciplined. There were times I marveled at the consistency, efficency and tenacity of the defensive play of both teams. In the end, Virginia was the better offensive team because De'Andre Hunter found his shot in the second half and Jarrett Culver did not. It's a shame there had to be a loser but that's why they keep score.

I mean it as a joke since I doubt Hunter comes back - more of a juxtaposition to Wake not being able to keep anyone.

As they should! As long as Bennett is there, they will be a tough team to crack

there is no perfect analogy since no other #1 seed has ever lost to a #16, but Tennessee pissing away 4 years of Peyton Manning (0-4 against UF) and then going undefeated with Tee Martin is a decent comparison
 
Hope that guy who bet $1500 on Texas Tech last April to win $300,000 hedged. Trying to think how much I would have. Maybe $50,000. Still would have been devastated.
 
Yeah Hunter will definitely go and I think after this tournament run Jerome will also leave.

UVA will still have six top 100 ESPN recruits on their team: Diakite, Guy, Key, Huff and they're bringing in Casey Morsell and Kadin Shedrick.

In 2020 they're also bringing in another white guard from Greensboro Day in Carson McCorkle (who reclassified from class of 2021 a few weeks ago).
 
That McCorkle kid sounds like a real coach on the floor.
