Seriously. People dragging a freshman Muslim Congressman, when our President bragged more than once aboutnhaving the tallest building (and lying about Muslims celebrating on rooftops). Wonder why? What could it be?

And now this President is inciting death threats against her and other Muslims, but let's grandstand about a comment by her lamenting that all Muslims are lumped together and blamed for 9/11. Again, wonder why?

Either she is incredibly stupid or she is filled with hate. This is not her first event.

Her words and actions (or lack thereof) contradict your statement.

"some guys did something" - About twenty people, murdering over 3000 and starting two wars (one justified, one not) that destabilize the word for nearly a quarter of a century, so far, is much more than "something". She totally minimalized what they did and who they were.

What's sad is she could have illustrated her legitimate point about the horrible bigotry, innocent Muslims endure. But her continuum of insensitive and incendiary statements will make these events worse.

Hate is typically a very strong emotion, like, one of the strongest. People don’t have casual hates or indifferent hate or cavalier hate.

Man she's got you so enraged you don't even know what you're saying anymore. Her statement that "some people did something" is neither insensitive nor incendiary. It is not minimizing the events of 9/11/2001 and the gravity of the al-Qaeda terrorists' attack. It is certainly not minimizing the impact those attacks had domestically and globally.

This entire shitstorm was started by a conservative Imam and Rep. Dan Crenshaw taking a 20-second clip out of a 20-minute speech completely out of context and attributing their own bigotry and biases to those words. Omar's speech was centered around a call for Muslim Americans to not accept being treated as second-class citizens as some sort of atonement for the 9/11/2001 attacks. I think it's almost exactly like what we call on mainstream media to do when we have our daily mass shooting: don't give the perpetrator(s) more credit and fame. We all know what happened that day, we all know the lives affected because of that day. You may disagree with how she phrased that one statement, you may think it was "ham-handed". But you're just flat out wrong that it was in any way "filled with hate".
 
This was just another cheap attempt at scoring political points with the Trump rube base who are scared of any woman of color in a position of power. The GOP and Fox propaganda machine is going to work 24/7 until November 2020 to attempt to force Ilhan Omar to resign from Congress. RJ, don't do help them with that mission.

You can absolutely be cavalier about your hatred/racism/bigotry. It can be offhanded or dismissive.

If she keeps talking like she has over the past few months, she will be the poster person for the RNC and will help re-elect Trump and a GOP Senate.

She's helping the GOP and so is not being outraged by her. "Some people did something" is no different than "there are many fine people".

It has ZERO to do with her being a woman of color or a Muslim. You can't hold Trump accountable for his hate and racism if you don't hold her to the same standards.

She blew the high ground. It's not at all out of context. It was central to what she said. You can destroy a twenty minute presentation with one bad clause and she did.

Crenshaw was wrong and so is she.

I know EXACTLY what I am saying and why.

If you are talking about hating the Cleveland Cavalier’s, ok. Otherwise I think you can’t have a casual very strong emotion.
