Finally getting around to reading the actual report.

That motherfucker Paul Manafort shared internal polling data with Konstantin Kilimnik “for some period of time” after the August meeting which had been previously reported.
 
That’s conspiracy in itself. Why share polling data with someone you’re not working with?

Especially someone who’s well known to be Russian intel. And at this point Manafort knew what the Russian government was up to.

This isn't true at all, which is why some of is feel Russiagate was silly. It was $100k spent on facebook ads depicting Yosemite Sam & the release of emails that had nothing damaging in them that anyone can remember. What % of people here recall the contents a single Podesta email by memory? That didn't buy anyone 50,000 votes in Michigan. He's an immoral asshole, yes. But Russia didn't put that immoral asshole in the White House.

I can imagine the Easter family conversations among formally somewhat reasonable conservatives, convincing themselves and their growing children that the current situation is still better than a Clinton presidency would have been, what with all the healthcare, housing, and food stamps she would have gleefully given to all the undeserving lazies, the women and children from Honduras she would have welcomed, and the remains of fetuses she would have gleefully paid for.

True. It's kind of sad, really, all they've got left is their blind faith that Trump actually gives a damn about any of them in their little towns and burbs, and will somehow restore things to the way they were, instead of giving them the cold truth that the world has changed economically and demographically in the last 30 or so years, and those factory jobs and coal mining jobs aren't coming back, and they and their communities need to change their ways of thinking and doing things if their kids are going to be able to survive in a mid-21st Century economy. But, no, let's just fight the future and dig in even deeper into nostalgia for the past and give in to our worst impulses regarding minority groups and different ideas and ways of doing things. But, hey, Fox says no collusion, no obstruction - so #maga!
