2020 Democratic Presidential Nominees

Bernie is Biden for people who couldn't or didn't vote in 2008.

Chris' continued embrace of losing Democratic neoliberalism at least is better than (and adds some context to) his continued embrace of losing Lobo.

High standards, this man has none

biden is a doofus

i can't believe he's actually a viable presidential candidate

HRC was way better than Biden is

Why do you think so?

Hillary was never naive enough to make comments such as that Republicans "know better. They know this isn’t what they’re supposed to be doing." How could she have been when she was put through all the Benghazi and email bullshit she had to endure. She was much more open-eyed and ready to combat the current reality of the Republican Party than Biden is or ever will be.

She also was flexible in policy and was willing to consider new ideas. This hurt in some ways as she didn't have a coherent, consistent message, but I'll still take it over Biden's stubborness. It's hard for me to see someone who openly mocks the struggles of a generation who the economy has been directly rigged against, ever being an advocate for improving their lives in any meaningful way

Eliminate Bernie and Biden and trump roll

I think ph keeps thinking another Obama like candidate will emerge from this overstuffed pool of algae

Not happening

Obama has more political genius in his big toe than this whole squad of losers combined

It’s over

Over clowns like Bernie Sanders?

I embrace what has actually won in reality and not in naïve millennial fantasy.

I am happy with my station in life. I think my standards are just fine.

Also not sure what sports have to do with politics, but Grobe was to blame for a lot of those poor decisions. His decision to go to the option with a pro-style QB for instance.

Good man, happy for you. Hope you have higher standards for yourself than who you back politically or who Wake's OC is (as you should, really)

So my standards would be higher if I supported some hipster whose claim to fame before politics was stealing electricity from his neighbors.

And Lobo was the OC when we went to the bowl game that is your avatar with a rookie QB. He could have done worse.

It's funny how things that are millennial fantasy here are things that every other big-boy country provides

Biden supports the same medicare buy in that Pete Buttigieg does.

Most "big boy" countries have some sort of universal healthcare that runs the gammit. I support that and all of the Dem candidates do also.

Only a few have free universal college tuition.

With the exception of Luxembourg, Switzerland and Norway, the US has the highest medium disposable income in the world.

OK, good to know! Good to have you aboard. Forgive my skepticism regarding candidates who are opportunisticly hopping on the bandwagon of an issue that the dirty hippie you referenced put on the forefront of the debate, and has unequivocally supported for forever.

And by no means do you have to support Bernie, or Warren for that matter, who I think you'll find I've spent more time supporting today than Bernie. I get what you're against, but it's harder to tell what you're for, and why, besides that you "think" Biden will do a good job

I think any Democratic president is going to have a tough road to how. Pubs have structural advantages built in with Senate representation that will let them obstruct. And people vote with their pocketbooks. Are Americans going to be happy with European levels of growth where the Stoxx 50 has been negative since 2000?

Biden would nominate more liberal judge(s). He would be able to move certain policies left and would certainly be more receptive to the left than the right. If he is the best chance to win then that is the optimal choice, IMO.

Man I’m in love with Nicole Wallace. Can’t tell if that’s a legit feeling or just me getting older and becoming more attracted to women with a motherly look.
