2020 Democratic Presidential Nominees

I don’t care about the endorsement as much as the votes. If they’re already rejecting anyone but Bernie it doesn’t bode well for getting their votes.

Is that the takeaway? Really? Come on, Ph.

Yeah I liked Bernie and campaigned for him in 2016 but a lot of the things he’s talking about are addressed at least in part by several other candidates. I still like him but find Warren more practical. I think the concept of a revolution is what we need to infuse into progressive politics but at the end of the day the left has to coalesce and defeat Donald in 2020 because if he wins again it may actually take an economic and social revolution to recover from 8 years of having a total moron in the White House.

it Would be a tougher rebuild than 10 years of bzzzz and Danny.

We are starting to see LBJ's comment coming true. His joke/message was:"Do you know the difference between cannibals and Democrats? - Cannibals don't eat their own."

Is that what you think you’re doing?

I like to think that between my professional, religious, and political activities that I'm making a small difference in the world.

I'm also not the one sitting in the middle of Trump country with 40k+ posts on a message board shitting on social movements.

Will you canvas, register folks to vote, make phone calls, or even text undecided voters for this election? Y/N

I’m real curious if they will endorse and who. They could snowball and endorse each other to try to get one of them to 5% or more. Or they could try to five an advantage to one of the top 5.

Gun insurance has got to be one of the most obvious campaigns by an industry in the history of politics.

Gun insurance would have no impact on gun crime; it would serve to (1) increase fines/imprisonment for people of color for possessing "uninsured firearms;" and (2) line the pockets of insurance companies.

It would create an atrocious legal side to situations like El Paso - the "mass shooting" version of an ambulance chaser. They already exist, but the motor-vehicle-accident-esq nature of liability insurance would just...god, it would be horrible. We have term-life insurance for a reason. The chances of a mass shooter going, "oh jeez, I should get gun insurance before I shoot up this group of people that I hate so that their family members can be compensated." Just...fuck, guys. Come on.

Like, I get it - fight guns on all fronts, but this policy/legislation would actively work against the goals of the movement while lining corporate pockets. It's like retard liberal policy in essence form. It's how you earn the libtard badge or whatever the reds want to call it.

Liability gun insurance might be one of the stupidest "market solutions" that's ever been theorized. Beyond fucking means testing a minute percentage of the poorest gun owners, what lives would it save or crimes would it prevent? Idiots leaving guns out for their toddlers to play with are gonna stop? Mass murders going to be prevented? Suicides going to be thwarted? Jesus Christ what a goddamn galaxy brained moronic idea.

If you can afford a gun, you can afford the $5-100 insurance.

MDMH, should poor people not have to pay car insurance?
