sd3, want the $50 on the Falcons-Panthers bet now? That was a whiff on my behalf, just slight diff between Watson last week and this.

Guess defense wasn't gonna be good every week, nice to have the running game pick up the load. And still D got some turnovers at least.

McCaf should be league MVP

They couldn't stop it: How the Panthers used one run play over and over to shred the Jaguars

In the third quarter, running back Christian McCaffrey ran through a huge hole on the left side for an 84-yard touchdown – the longest touchdown run in franchise history.

In the fourth quarter, running back Reggie Bonnafon ran through a huge role on the right side for a 59-yard touchdown – the first touchdown of his career.

It was the same play to the other side.

So when do we hear that Cams foot injury is likely have him missing most the season??? Would not be surprised if something this week comes out as even Cam can read tea leaves...

I thought we already heard that. They're not treating him like he's week to week.

Then what are they treating him as? Most articles say he missed another game with uncertainty if we will be back next week. Ron is very ambiguous and saying there is no time table which sounds like week to week if you don't come out and say 1 or 2 months. Injury report seems to treat it similarly.

Whatever the case the Panthers are going to have a real tricky situation when Cam does come back as not sure how you can pull Kyle if Panthers keep winning and Cam will be a huge wild card in whether he is really back to his healthy running ways.

since our bye week is after London, you would think if there were plans to bring Cam back anytime soon you'd start to hear speculation if he'll be ready after the bye. but I haven't seen any, which leads me to believe we won't be seeing him any time soon.

It’s not that tricky. Allen is playing like a solid backup comparable to DA before he fell off. He’s not playing like a future starter. Pretty nice to go 3-0 without fueling a QB controversy.

The calculus hasn’t changed. If Cam gets healthy, he starts. Allen is doing well enough to give Cam time to get healthy. If Cam doesn’t get healthy, draft a QB in the first. Looks like a very deep draft. May be a good time to get a future QB regardless.

Yep

After Zona I thought there might be something to Allen, but last couple of games he's been fine but I wouldn't say good, and he certainly wasn't the reason we won the last two games.

Only thing I really hated yesterday were the two calls on 3rd and 4th down in the red zone late. Thought they were trying to get McCaffrey the "TD 3 ways" distinction which was a waste, and then didn't go straight into the line with the 4th down call. That situation is where we miss Cam.

Slye had a bad game, hopefully he'll just shake it off, but did have a weird feeling of Gano 2.0 where he was missing some pressure kicks like I always expected Gano to do

Seems like Tomlin's seat is heating up in Pittsburgh. I know we're 3-2 now, but just a few weeks ago, Rivera's seat was warm. I wonder what Tepper would think of Tomlin being on the market.

Was Cam even on the sidelines yesterday? I can't recall seeing him ...

Cam wasn't there for some reason. Regardless of it being a week to week thing he needs to be out there as a captain supporting the his teammates. Greg was on the sideline every week in a boot last year. There have been instagram posts of him around Charlotte and he crashed a Riot event this week so it's not like he isn't physically able to be there.

So let's hope there was a good reason we wasn't at BOA stadium.
