first series they mentioned the QB was going up against a defense that had a couple of key injuries

by and large the 11 guys on the field gave no reason for anyone to say anything about any injuries

Wake D-line and Henderson owned NCState offense.

ETA:

I'd rather have the announcers on the Jamie Newman hype train than on the injured player whine barge.

If State’s gameplan was for their new starting QB to avoid our NFL prospect CB, it did not work.

Nice win off a bye week. Don’t think that was mentioned.
 
NC State isn't too tough right now but the Deacs played like a top 25 team for the first time all year, and did it for 4 qtrs. Keep it up Deacs. Good luck in Blacksburg.

Did I hear on the radio that Hinton was injured. Must have missed that. Any early word on Washington or Hinton?

Hinton, Newman and Washington all taking hits. We need them next week.
 
Amari had one of the best games I ever recall seeing an ACC CB have. Dominant performance.

Yeah we were talking with some wake admins at tailgate and said OB reps were attending. Awesome.
 
VT DB just ejected for targeting and will miss first half of our game next week. Don’t know if he’s any good.

They said he’s one of their best players on defense. VT just had a great pick called back for a questionable roughing call. ND is in VT territory down 6.
 
What an awesome performance today. The team was ready to get after it today and played maybe the most complete game of the year and our fans turned out really well. Yeah there was still a good bit of red, but the least I remember in a long while. There was none close to where I was sitting in section 2. Hope our guys enjoy themselves this evening, they earned it and tomorrow start getting ready for the trip to Blacksburg.
 
Very questionable roughing the passer call negates a Va Tech interception by ND.
 
Shared the journal write up on Facebook and within 1 minute a UNC fan commented how he didn’t see Clawson at Wake much longer. Wishful thinking I hope.
 
VaTech will be a tough game. We walk outta Blacksburg with a W and will be drained going to Death Valley the next week
