Then joshua tree for two days and Palm Springs for three days
I eat handfuls of peanuts as a snack at work. Hate when you get one that was really bitter and off and rotten-ish. I think it’ll take a couple hours for this taste to go away.
I’m pretty sure that means it was just rotten before roasting but part of me thinks it was one where a grub snacked it’s way in there and then got roasted and I just ate gross roasted grub and bug eaten peanut.
You pick your dinner spots yet?
have you ever dated/slept with someone who had the same name as your mom?
(pretty sure we're an all straight male chat thread at this point, but please answer for your dad if that's your thing)
my mom's name is a little old fashioned and very rarely do I meet people in my age range that have her name
it'd be a tough one to get past

Staying at Saddle Peak lodge Christmas Eve and Christmas. Then wanna fit in Somni and Mh Zh. Still looking for cheap eats taco truck type stuff for lunch and dinner a couple nights both near Malibu/Santa Monica and East LA/Downtown. Sandfish is the only plan we have in Palm Springs.
Got some great PM recs from folks already.

There are some dive bars in Santa Monica right behind the 3rd Street Promenade. Not sure about the food, but some have good music. Big Dean's used to fun and has a good view for a cheap place.
There used to be a place called the Fish Grill in Malibu that was cheap and good. Maybe it's still there. Another place not on PCH was called something like Mutts. There are two places called something Cantina on Washington in Marina Del Rey (a couple of minutes south of Santa Monica). The one closest is a bit divier but serves massive Margartitas.
Having the wife ride on a 19th/early 20th century carousel on the Santa Monica may get you some points with her.
is the ocean cold?
