Wake Forest at Davidson -- Friday 7:30 pm ESPN+

The question has to be asked- Should Danny get an ironclad extension through 2030?
 
The game against Davidson at the Joel last December was one of the best games the Deacs played all season. Tonight is destined to be one of the best we see this this season. One thing Davidson lacks is a player with sufficient foot speed/quickness to break the defense down off the dribble, which is normally Wake’s Achilles heel. Combine that with Sarr playing confidently against the smaller players behind Brajkovic, and this is the result. Won’t be replicable against the ACC, but it is what it is.
 
Good thing Racer decided against betting against Wake. He’d have to go a whole month without his silly posts.
 
Look. We won. Let’s just enjoy it for the moment. It really won’t make a difference one way or the other come March. If you find yourself consistently pulling for the other team, then it may be time to make some serious self-evaluations.
 
I’m happy it seems like we played a fairly complete game the way we want to.



I hate that I’m going to probably end up “having” to subscribe to freakin espn plus. F that.


Oh well it was kind of fun/nostalgic listening to this game on the WF Gameday app.

Any idea how many more games will be on espn +? I’d imagine 3 or 4 at the very most. ACC games will be on rdo gulag tv.

Dude I know the program is in rough shape but I’m not sure we are on the level of gulag TV just yet.

You may want to go back and look at layup points by Davidson player blowing by his man.

Davidson soundly beat Nevada who only lost to Utah by 5 and USC by 10, so there's that....

I think Davidson is better than Wake and will be ranked higher at the end of the year. Wake just happened to play well last night.

It’s OK to note that Wake played well. It doesn’t mean Manning is a good coach. In fact, I think it shows that Wake has potential and decent talent, we just have a poor coach so we don’t play up to our potential.

Played confidently, yes.

But that crowd was far from hostile. Like every Hornets game there, awful atmosphere.
