Catamount, I don’t say this lightly, you are consistently the dumbest poster. You’re questioning context? Here’s some context. College athletes representing our university and decked out in Wake gear shouldn’t be calling people faggots at Disneyland. I can’t believe I’m typing that sentence.

Next. People take shit to twitter or other public means all the time. It forces action. There’s a point to it other than self promotion. Oh, and if she was lying, she’s not only going to be fired, she’ll probably be sued for libel.

Finally, even if cameras don’t pick up sound, they pick up your “context.”

Zero percent chance she is fired if she embellished the story.

She makes it sound like he intentionally and hatefully directed the word toward member of the LGBTQ community, I seriously doubt it.

Yeah only narcissists and liars use Twitter religiously. Someone who likes to make up things to make themselves look better and put other people down. Can't trust anything someone posts on twitter.

All I was saying was that in the Age of Jussie, I’m going to wait for all of the facts to come in before I run my Outrage Meter into the red.

If these players in fact behaved the way she claims they did, then they embarrassed themselves and the university and they should be held accountable. It certainly wouldn’t be unprecedented for a group of college students to be credibly accused of boorish behavior.

What additional facts are you waiting for? Do you think the players are going to sit down with the press for a full accounting of their side? Do you think Wake is going to release details of their investigation into the incident?

No. We won’t hear anything else about it except a suspension for conduct detrimental to the team and vague rumors from AD sources.

What are we supposed to do to corroborate it? There is indeed a Facebook page of someone with that name and it says they work at Disneyland. And more googling confirms she is a former college athlete. So those parts are true at least

I am perfectly content to wait a few days before burning some Wake college kids at the stake.
 
Assuming it happened, I said they should be punished and educated. I’m not sure that warrants a suspension. Would need more information.
 
That incident worked out so well for Jussie Smollett’s career so I can see why people would want to imitate it.

Tried four people last night and three today. No one wanted to go to see a game that was on TV.

Tried to find scalped tix and there were none to be had. It's a pain in the ass to go to watch us get spanked big time.

Sorry, it's not in the cards tonight. At least, I got us home Friday.
