Chills will run up and down your spine, for sure.
That’s one of the uglier trophies I’ve ever seen. George Kostanza design that one?

Does the George M. Steinbrenner III Trophy come with a parole officer?
anyone ever flow into the Newark airport? All my searches keep finding this as the cheapest flight but not sure if I want to go that route. Probably A long shot that someone on a Wake message board would know anything about New Jersey ...I kid I kid.

Yanks can afford 400 million for a pitcher but can’t shell out the extra 100 bucks for a nameplate nicer than what’s on my JV Soccer 2nd place trophy.
Depending on where you are staying, Newark is probably the cheapest uber ride into the city or you can take the train directly, as someone else mentioned - the train runs twice an hour, its a New Jersey Transit, not terribly bad, but shows up at Penn Station and you will still need another cab ride to wherever you are going. If you have 3 or more people, just take an Uber from the airport will be cheaper and faster.
Uber from JFK is generally $80-$90 and takes 1-2 hours, LGA and Newark is $50-$70, unless crazy surge pricing, and takes 30-45 minutes.

2nd place?

LOSER
Newark is your typical US airport. You can take the train from there into Penn Central, which you can’t do from Laguardia.
Newark is the closest to Manhattan. Once you arrive, take the Airtrain ( free ) from any of the 3 terminals ( 5 minutes ) over to the nearby Northeast Corridor railroad station to catch a NJTransit train into NYPenn Station ( Madison Square Garden ) in 20 minutes.
From there take a cab to your hotel of choice. But, just a suggestion, the Pennsylvania hotel is directly across the street from MSG/NYPenn Station and 1 block over to Herald Square ( Macy's ) to catch the D train ( subway ) to/from Yankee Stadium ( 18-20 minute ride ).
GO DEACS !
The Pennsylvania hotel hit its prime in 1930. It is a dump and the lobby is filled with deplorables. Stay away.
