The 2019 College Football Thread ! LSU NATIONAL CHAMPIONS ! CLEMSON SUCKS !!!!!!!!!!!

So I know purple is one of Clemson’s colors too but did Brent Venables have to wear a yellow cap with his purple shirt?

I was going to rip on Biff earlier for talking about probably falling asleep before the end of this one. But now it’s 10:35pm and still halftime. I’m not going to make it.

Not sure I understand why Jim Brown is thought of as the best college football player ever given his stats.

this game started 3 hours ago, and there are 6 minutes left in the 3rd

Guys moving a million miles an hour. Why would anyone choose to play defense growing up these days? It’s an impossible task.

Mugging all night and they call a verrrrrrrry late PI to take away an INT

might be a momentum changer right there

that td drop feels big

this thread really lost steam

wow, never looked up brown's college stats before and you're right. Never rushed for a thousand yards in a season, 19 rushing td's his entire career. Good YPC , but not spectacular. interesting.

Part of it is that they only played 8 games a season.

I looked at the Heisman invitee stats for that year... They were all bad.

Different game, I guess.

Two time Heisman winner Archie Griffin should be considered for #1. 5,589 yards is compelling.

But also some more contemporary guys like Cam Newton, Tim Tebow, Reggie Bush etc should have been up there.
