Bullshit Trump Says

What are the chances some American(s) actually was/were killed in Iran and Trump is covering for it?
 
Do any of you have professional friends who are conservative but not exactly big Trump fans who just do not care at all about any of this? It seems to be the general take from these conservatives - economy is up, we're all better off than we were a few years ago, who cares.

Yes. My take is that they’re ill-informed, largely mediocre individuals who won’t care about a problem until it happens to THEM. I had to listen to my trumpy coworker complain about the OOP cost of an unexpected medical procedure he had to pay for even though he had insurance - this is what you voted for! And you complain about Obamacare being the devil!

Yes. A couple of my good friends are this way -- one is a banker and one owns an auto shop. Neither of them follows any of it closely and are both doing well, so wgaf? They will likely vote Trump again despite my desperate please. My normally conservative friends who actually follow politics didn't vote for Trump in 16 and definitely won't again.

I've noticed a lot of Trumpers on Facebook like to post GoFundMes for medical expenses -- either for them/their family or with a "Please share !!! [million prayer hands emojis]"
 
How the fuck could you not be aware at this point unless you're deliberately avoiding it?

Yes- seems like the only thing they care about is that they got their tax break. They can hold their nose at all the other stuff since they have more money in their pockets now. It's just amazingly selfish. And anything that has to do with supporting the greater good = "socialism".

Yeah, both people I'm thinking about are conservative but don't really follow the details. One was completely taken by surprise when I brought up the migrant children in cages.(?!) The other was happy to show me a picture of Jared Kushner on the cover of Time.

This represents my Trumper family members. Fox News only for TV, online “news” come from some shit called Western Journal, Blabber (?), The Blaze, Live Action.org, and more. That doesn’t count the memes they repost as “news.” These people don’t consume other sources. Just sites that confirm their far right bias #anecdotes
