I have gut feeling he is coming back for at least 1 more season. If they didn’t want/have the money to buyout his $18 million last year, how would they have it for $15 million?

It comes down to a matter of if the Boosters or AD WANT to pay the $15 million buyout. There have been a couple college football programs that have fired their head and paid in excess of $15 million for their buyout.

54 in the second half. I wonder how many times a team has scored 50 or more in the second half on a Danny Manning "coached" WF team? I'm pretty sure there have been a few 60 plus second halves as well.
 
Manning should he fired solely for playing Torry Johnson more than 2 minutes a game, let alone more than 30, Wright Jr literally did more in his 4 minutes than Johnson did in 34 minutes.

And yet we still lost by double digits. The fact that he dominates the ball and gets his doesn't mean that he makes us a better team overall.
 
Danny doesn't wear a hat because he knows there is no place to hang it. Allowing 54 points in the second half rarely wins games. Tory Johnson produced 2 points and 2 rebounds in 34 minutes. Sharone Wright produced the same numbers in 4 minutes. I know DM reads the box score because he is unable to do an post game interview without one. I wonder if he understands the numbers he reads.

Apparently not. In the past five games Johnson has produced 24 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists in 181 minutes. Maybe the 11 turnovers justify the minutes. A coach with any sense at all understands that his team can't win with this lack of production from a player. Les or Conor should ask for an explanation.

Manning will just mumble some cliche that really doesn't even make sense or doesn't answer the question. "You gotta have 5 guys on the court." Or something as stupid as that.
 
Danny is very comfortable losing while it tears us up.

Watching Mack's #6 Lewisville team now.... and they had (have) a stripper scandal!
 
Not sure why we can't fire DM for non performance and not pay a buyout. He certainly is not doing the job he was hired to do

We've gone 1-6 in the last 7 games. Here are Johnson's averages over that stretch.

6.3 pts, 2.6 reb, 0.9 ast, 0 stl, 0 blk, 2.1 to, 2.6 pf on 30% fg, 19% 3pt, 79% ft in 35.1 min/game

Why on earth does he play? Once again, we have a senior grad transfer who gets guaranteed playing time from Manning.
 
Pretty telling that the game thread was only 5 pages deep at the end. I forgot we had a game TBH.

I can't recall an uglier shooting form "jump shot" from a D1 guard....brings ball up from his knees....
 
We have five maybe six players that would play for other ACC teams (Sarr, Massoud, Mucius, Brown, White and maybe Neath). With that said, creative lineups and better coaching could have this team at 7-8th place in conference play.

Even worse, Johnson continues to take shots during clutch time. Dude sucks.
 
Lol we had a starting guard play 34 minutes, score 2 points and put up 0 assists. All of our bench guards combined for 4 points. But yeah let's shit on the kid being asked to do way too much who's putting up 17 and 5 in conference without a single reasonable guard to help him since Chaundee is out.

Give all the hate to Manning. He's earned it, plus it'll feel even better when he gets fired. Our ceiling might be 2 more wins from here on out.
