Neath - is he legit?

Certainly seems athletic enough. If he can learn to shoot we’ll be on to something.

He shoots .455 from 3pt, .407 from 2pt, and .566 FT. Don't see that very often.

I like how fearless he is about trying to dunk, even if there’s little chance of it happening.

remind me how many games you have seen this year?
YES! strong, growing into his body, needs to develop midrange as do most players, cautious with the ball most often, no hero ball, likes to distribute.
for first start, he with Mucius gave us great energy and quality to start the first 15 mins, even when DM pulled Saar.

He is a very good athlete - he can jump out of the gym and is strong. He looks like a pass first point guard who is improving his shooting. Don’t think he will ever be a shooter but he might develop into a scorer. He has a chance to be good.

How do D1 caliber guards not learn how to shoot in HS? It’s amazing to me how many athletic guards there are in college b-ball now who can’t shoot. What the hell did they work on in HS?

Getting to the basket at will.

I don't think Neath will ever be known as a shooter but he will be as a scorer IMO. He is so strong, crafty and athletic, he can get to wherever he wants to on the floor. The one limiting factor is his FT shooting but he will get better at that, been a long time since we had a big physical PG like he is

Loved CMM but his three point shot never had a 10-22 stretch if I recall correctly. I remember him sending them up but rarely going through the net. But boy he could get up and dunk better than most of our guards Robert Siler as the exception that comes to mind.

Think about it Torry Johnson was playing more minutes than Neath all year cause the starting lineup is set in November. That is just terrible coaching.
