I wouldn’t look at it as charity. It’s an economic stimulus. Keep your Y membership active, order some take-out, donate it to the food bank. I would recommend using it to buy back shares of your business, increase the amount of your CEO’s golden parachute, or automate your factory.

Agree with this. Everyone gets a check? Trump gets a check? Jerry Jones gets a check? David Tepper gets a check? 21 year-olds (technically in college) get a check even if they weren't employed before all of this started? The a-holes that hoarded Purell and toilet paper and sold them at inflated prices get a check? Prisoners get a check? Will be interested to see how all of this plays out and the impact of just giving everyone a grand?

I agree with this. Any deferment of mortgage payments, etc should be penalty free. No accrued interest.
 
Its kind of like the extrapolation math that people did with the Iranian government to show that the actual number of cases were in the millions. Sure NBA players travel more, close contact with teammates so if one tests positive they all do but it still seems disproportional and more that they have the status to actually be tested despite lack of symptoms. I think there's actually a 40-50% asymptomatic rate that remain carriers/spreaders without ever showing symptoms, probably a lower R0 value but confounded by greater potential for interaction.
