It was a dark humor meme in response to a dark humor post.
All Florida public schools are closed until April 15.
Parents of kids in my neighborhood are just opening the doors in the morning and sending the kids outside for the day. In any other circumstance, I would think that was great. But, of course, all the kids are playing with one another and spreading everything any one of them has around and then collectively taking it all back to their parents.
I don't have kids, so I don't know how hard it would be to keep a kid occupied indoors all day, but this seems to defeat the purpose of closing schools. I guess it is better to be exposed to 10-15 kids in the neighborhood than 500 at school, but, given how much they are exposed to each other, if just one of them has it, they are all going to get it and all of their parents are going to get it too, not to mention the grandparents who are coming over for Sunday dinner.
Anecdotally, it looks to me like Gen X isn't really any better at this social distancing than the Millennials are, its just that we are doing it wrong in the context of parenthood rather than on a beach in Daytona.
Some colleges already announcing everything on campus canceled for rest of spring semester. All classes remote, including exams. Graduation “postponed”.
Prorated refunds for housing and meal plans.
We’ve tested about 1400 people since we opened the drive thru over the weekend, with about 3% coming up positive so far.
If only it were printed on toilet paper.
Where are you located?

Do you test everyone who shows up or is there some filtering criteria first? I would assume (/ hope) the latter given the shortage of tests.
