Racer here's the deal. I have a life outside of this board. I'm not going to get in a tit for tat argument with you on every little asinine complaint of yours.

I've said what I've said. If he ends up getting fired within the next week, then I've already told LK to feel free to ban away. It's not going to make that much of an impact in my life. I've glanced at the boards without posting hardly anything for close to 20 years. I will survive. Something that I don't think you could do.

I haven’t paid attention to Wake Forest sports in years or read this thread but I was speaking with a family friend on the golf course yesterday that’s connected with the program and he said Manning isn’t getting fired.

I’ve come to terms that we’re not gonna get an announcement tomorrow or anytime this upcoming week. If we do, great. But nah, not expecting it anymore. And then something will come out randomly in like mid-April.

Yeah. The only place I’ve ever found people who wanted to talk about BC sports in my 7 years living up here are at actual BC sporting events. And even there let’s be honest not too many people. BCI and AJ are great at their jobs but it’s not a big market.

Agreed, and I’m ok with that. We’ve waited six years people, what’s another month or two. As long as we lock down a future coach in that time period, nothing wrong with waiting in the current global situation.
 
With a record of 50 games below .500 in the ACC have to keep the faith that Manning has coached his last game at Wake with the ACCT loss to Pitt.

Coronavirus is still going to be a big deal in a month, and 3 months, and probably 6 months and maybe even a year. We cannot use that as an excuse not to do what needs to be done . Lets lead the way for once instead of sitting around worrying about public relations and hurt feelings. If we fire Manning today, we are the ONLY P6 job open- what an incredible advantage for us in a coaching search. Except we’re not going do it and instead hide in the fog of Coronavirus because our leaders lack any semblance of vision and ambition to be good - forget great for the time being, Currie and Hatch don’t even want to strive to be good if we keep Manning another year.
 
If Manning really is not being fired for whatever godforsaken reason you have to let the fan base know. Statement, interview with the beat guys, whatever but you can’t just let us suffer in purgatory after the last six years.

I expect purgatory for a while now. With the cancellation of college sports for all or part of 2020-2021 on the table, cancellation of Danny Manning may be on hold until thete is clarity on the existence of the season.
 
I have to believe that either or both of LSU and Arizona jobs may be open in about 10 days. At least Wake will not be looking at sanctions.
