wfu03 is doing a lot more self pres logicposting now than redwing and his original post today didn't make any sense to me, but if anything i'm a level 0 player so i have no idea

i wish nonny was still around he's great at telling people what level things are

The more likely answer is that neither Jman nor I are mafia. Again, this is not absolutely certain, but just looking at the votes and the timing, I can't fathom how I do not seem more likely to be a civ after you have that information than before.

I don't buy this BULLSHIT at all.

Because if redwing is your maf brethren then him switching 4 mins from OT allows the votes to realign to a tie. Him waiting to do a sudden death vote in OT allows for no such realignment.

Stop being so intentionally obtuse.

Oh, it definitely can, especially if it is late in the game or you are protecting someone with stronger powers - but a klillshot like 5 minutes into OT seems more organic than a mafia trying to save another mafia. Why wait?

i'll weigh in here:

it doesn't make sense to do on d2 in a 27 player game unless WFU03 is extremely powerful, and if he was extremely powerful i think he would've claimed something besides vanilla civ to avoid the situation entirely and endangering teammate redwing (in this hypothetical).

2 mafia = very unlikely imo
redwing mafia / WFU03 civ = possible
redwing civ / wfu03 civ = possible
redwing civ / wfu03 mafia = unlikely imo

I feel like you are now arguing different strategies. Redwing can definitely be mafia saving another mafia in WFU03, but if his goal was to not make it look like that, he gave everyone else in the game 5 minutes to killshot WFU03, and would defeat the initial purpose. I mean, we can disagree, its cool, but everything here is shades of gray.

whatever, i'll stand down on arguing the logic of it, but it seems like the obsession with reads and whatnot based on a player's personality helps the mafia as much as it helps the civs, it's not like any of the experienced guys are getting the same reads

any success I had last game was just getting guys to keep talking until they over-explained themselves or stumbled over a defense, not based on any reads on their posting

also not being able to post for like six days was probably helpful

See, in this case, I think Redwing civ and WFU03 being mafia is more likely than the reverse. But whatevs.
 
WFU not really claiming was the only part of that run that didn't seem civ. Give up posts calling people dumb are also usually civ

I think there are people misinterpreting his "Kill Jman" post in OT that wasn't a vote and more of a declarative. I kinda want to vote for ryalaman too. In fact I did, but I have since changed.
