Ryala was dead on in his analysis of SD3's claim. SD3 picked things that couldn't be checked and the 1-shot cop that he definitely would have used before Day 48.

Not necessarily if he is also bulletproof. He never got heat during the day. The tcc investigation should have been red flag instead of a pink one for me. The confusion over ryala's night 4 watch didn't help the civs.

Ph is actually right. Your claimed powers didn't fit with the rest of the things revealed in the game. None of the revealed roles were terribly complicated. Your claim was a level or two of complication higher than anything actually in the game at that point.

If you are recruited by the civs, you will be able to use your assassin skills and inner knowledge of Thanos’s operation to work as a civilian cop. Starting the night after you are recruited to the civ side, you may select a player to investigate. Your investigation will notify you of that player’s alignment. Results will return, “Player is not mafia,” or “Player is mafia.”. If Thanos acquires 4 total Infinity Stones, you lose this ability. If Thanos dies before recruiting you, you will automatically join the civ faction and gain powers as if you were recruited by the civs.

There's a big difference between 1-shot cop, 1-shot vig roles and "I can ask the mod if there are X number of mafia in this group." Feel free to show me that role on MafiaScum.

And yeah, one big reason we lost is that you all came up with a plausible claim with plausible powers for SD3.

There have been about 10 games in the suque with a truth teller role. I disagree with you and 03 saying that a very straightforward yes/no role is more complicated than someone you cleared for claiming he got one vig one Bpv one investigation and one whatever else sd3 said.

Regardless - the plausibility of my made up power has nothing to do with what I’m saying. You don’t clear people in theme games based on speculating on safe claims. It’s completely different than figuring out if someone is full of shit regarding a role they’re claiming.

Telling your team that you had been the cop would probably have been a good idea

sorry Ryala. I was really confused with what happened n4. I also bought SD3's claim, especially once BYM's role was confirmed as Black widow and it seemed like Iron Man had to be in the game.

This was super fun and a great sheltering in place distraction but I need to go back into my Mafia retirement hole. This game is really bad for my job performance.

Civs lost because bym made an honest mistake which led to his lynch. There are two lessons here:

1) civs make mistakes. Think before killing them
2) karma exists. Bym angle shot once severely and a few other times.

Nutoogs is not an angry person so I will just d1 vote him for a game or 2, but nicely.

The second part of what you posted I agree with. Ph was too hung up on real/safe claims. Considering his actual role was probably the most BS real role, I would have thought he would realize that Gooner used some of the good roles as fake claims.

First - I ended up getting swamped Monday and Tuesday so I wasn’t in mafia chat much. But it was down to you bym and goaliemom. Bym was voted for by ryala who claimed to see the jailer so it was one of the two of you.

Anyway, thank you for running Gooner. Fun game. Especially good job by sd3 and juice.

Ph kinda disappeared at the end of the game. That didn't help much but neither did I. Sorry ryala.

I legit had a busy day, but there was only so much to do as Pepper Potts in a late game scenario especially when I was taking heat.

you should go look at the days from d3 - like d8 of us nailing mafia because of going back to read the reads people are forced to make d1 - d2

No. I didn't think Pepper Potts would be a role in a game without her husband, the main character of the film.
