New coaching search thread

no way chris collins is a real candidate. maybe joining amaker's staff or something.
 
I had hoped Curry spent this year in which he knew he would fire Manning to lay the groundwork for a great hire. These are disappointing names being floated. I'm pretty disappointed about Forbes being definitely out.
 
So, any of y'all that got overly excited and upped your DC donations after Manning was fired ready to walk that back yet? I remember when this happened after [Redacted] was fired.

That or he's already been shunned by about 10 candidates.
 
It seems with most coaching searches we have a list of big name coaches (they never happen), then some quality coaches with an equal mix of uninspiring duds. This search its like we had few big names, and then a disproportional uninspiring dud to quality ratio. I guess every year that passes as a dumpster fire makes it harder and harder.
 
At this point, Chris Collins looks like Danny Manning, one outlier good season and then a series of complete trainwrecks. Have watched a lot of Northwestern Basketball over the last two years, and they had an uncanny ability to blow leads late. They have been the WF of the Big 10.

ha yep. My Pops owns a hanger up there. I would tell him to drive up and check it out, but he stopped giving a fuck a long time ago.

If Forbes is out, it has to be because he wasn't squeaky clean enough for bleeping Hatch.
 
I'm pretty bummed if Forbes is really out of consideration and it was Wake's decision
