he's probably bad for being upset and thinking I broke the integrity of the game, but if I use that against him it will further anger his butt hurtness towards this subject.

If the person has a one-time power and they used it, we have a cleared civ.

Adding a cleared civ in a game where everyone has a power (and it's questionable if anyone has more than a one-time power) is far more important than eliminating one person that could be special special.

my favorite thing gouda did all game was this round going "tim are you going to do anything" and then tim immediately voted for gouda

I mean, you're asking that person to come out to prove someone who has claimed more than a 1 shot. A true 1 time should come out, sure. But that's not necessarily clearing, and some percentage of the time it is not a 1 shot power, because like, game theory
 
tl;dr: I guess I technically agree with exactly what you posted, but it means other things which may not be +EV
 
No movement at all in a 3 way tie late in the round is making me nervous

I don't expect mafia to have visited eagles n2.

So if someone did actually visit eagles, he can clear himself by coming out. Maf could fake it but someone else would come out and catch them. And if a civ actually did visit eagles, then Redwing is likely honest. Because otherwise Redwing is a maf watcher who saw someone visit Eagles but didn't night hit that special.

otoh i've been kept alive for my gouda and to a lesser extent eagles reads soooo
