Official Forbes' assistant coaches: McKie, Savage, Childress

Maybe we'll send you there and let you make all your stupid posts in the middle of the night.

Stupid posts? For a year RJ has been telling anyone who would listen Goodman's $18M($15M) numbers were bullshit. And it came true

I think that Forbes said in his initial press conference that he was bringing the ETSU basketball strength coach (they had another name for it -- maybe performance coach) to WF.

Well only 3 of them can officially recruit. Chill has always had the DC area and has ties there.

Chill went to HS in the DC area. He played for probably the second best coach (Stu Vetter) in the area. (The late Morgan Wooten was the best.)
He knows the DC area and has been, and probably will remain the lead for guys from there.

Is he going to keep Horn’s lighting guy?

I don’t know how we’ll get by without Horn’s hyped up celebrations.

Well, we will finally have something to celebrate. Imagine 13k Ryan Horns going nuts (or 4K if you are donaldross).

Sorry if a repost from somewhere, but a BJ McKie article I just saw.

“You’re in another state. You’re in a Power 5 conference. You have to go recruit non-stop. You go from chillin’ to full throttle.”

Some good quotes from BJ there.

“Winning is an attitude,” he said. “You win in the classroom. You win as far as being a man and presenting yourself [maturely] out in public. You win by being a good teammate. You win by having good character.

“We want to bring a winning tradition back to Wake Forest.”

Horn was the only person on staff that showed any enthusiasm. Great guy. Hope he lands in a good place.

This.

He was probably the only guy I would have been OK with retaining. He didn't seem to fit the mold of the rest of Danny's staff. He seemed to be pretty good at his job, considering the way the guys seemed to develop physically over the years they spent at Wake.

[NB: I thought Chill needed to go work under a different (good) coach at another school to get a different perspective on college coaching. If he wants to get good at coaching, he should be an assistant to Jay Wright or somebody like him.]

It just all seemed so fake and put-on, if not attention seeking...like fan-man, but on the bench. He'd be going crazy over a play despite the game being out of reach. He seems to be really popular with the sunshine brigade. I'm sure he'll land somewhere that his exuberance is appreciated, but I'm glad to be rid of most everything ever associated with the Manning regime.
