You think he was one of the cops firing tear gas cannisters and rubber bullets at people's eyeballs? As long as "restoring order" requires excessive, indescriminate violence, such as shooting at people's porches on residential streets, then of course those cops are going to be met with violence. Death is tragic, but don't pretend like the police aren't catalyzing and escalating the violence.

He also needs to improve his reading comprehension.

1. I made one comment about the need for people to be careful with what they read, share or interact with because twitter is still a cesspool of trolls from foreign countries. That does not equate to trying to “turn this into Russiagate 2.0” or whatever the fuck that is supposed to mean.

2. The mayor of St Paul originally said “every single person” who was arrested the other night was from out of state. He now no longer believes it was “every single person” but there were still out of state people arrested.


And finally yeah Townie...you’re not helping your cause here with a constant barrage of douchey and immature insults directed to people who generally agree with you. And if I feel that way, think about how you must come across to people who are beginning to think for the very first time in their lives “hey we need to do something about structural racism and police brutality”.

Your level of maturity on these boards is counterproductive. You are literally trying to end widespread systemic bullying while being a bully yourself.
