another really good game for d14, he didn't post anything or vote any way that led to his death, some of his posts were exceptionally helpful and clear, much more so than others i was trying to get help from at the time. kid can play.

Thanks man. I would echo other people that you played a really good game here, you guys just got no help with crosshits to kill maf.

And no I don't think I was rusty, I just had really poor reads on who Mike/Kim could be and then when I finally became Saul I made terrible decisions with powers. Duff getting killed was 100% my fault.

I believe the only hidden role I havent reveal is this:

PH = Chuck McGill (Civ) - You are a renowned attorney and you are not shy about letting people know it. Once during each day, you must post a pompous post boasting about your greatness. You win with the town.
Hidden - Once Jimmy leaves the firm and becomes Saul, Chuck will receive the following message. Your brother Jimmy has left the firm. You are concerned about the path he is on. Each night you will search for him. If you find him, you will learn what he is doing (his current alignment).

I think PH not getting to search until after Gooner found a recruit was too much of a handicap. Gooner was already superpowered to begin with, and this was even more in his favor. I understand that you want roles to really match up in game with the show, but sometimes considerations need to be made for gameplay purposes. Just constructive criticism, as I have made the same mistake in the past.

Yeah. And it didn't necessarily fit with the show because Chuck died before Jimmy became Saul anyway. Making Chuck an Indy hunter from the start because he's always been suspicious of Jimmy would fit better.

And just to make sure everyone knows, I never actually got to search for Saul because I got hit the night my power was activated.

By the way, why did Tejas and I get hit when numbers was the obvious hit?

Literally everyone in this game played better than I did, Duff and parlay can confirm. And I didn't win alone, GAT and Duff (and maybe Tejas?) are also winners and they all had a lot more to do with it than I did.

Nah, I think you played great. I think you would have been found super early if you were indy the whole time, which would have helped the civ cause.

From the civ side, Townie & Juice were amaze, Ph did a great job righting the ship.

To be fair, I wasn't an indy until D7, I was 100% civ up to that point

I will allow you to blame it on your wife this once. Because you may have been a civ in theory but you absolutely were not playing like one. At all. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Also just the largest shoutout and thank you to parlay for creating this game and running it because it was super fun, complex but not to the point that it died on itself, and he had a monumental task each night to keep the parts moving smoothly. have no idea what made you so salty about that, i feel like getting a rise out of you was half the reason i made the posts i did, but when i did it you got super butthurt and when ryala and gouda did the same thing you just laughed it off

did you not think to ask him about it? i asked mod a bunch of questions about it before sending it out, and he answered all of them.

We went back and forth about 10 times at which point he said he couldn't spend more time on it.

I didn't understand that it was multiple steps:

1. Request a new ID
2. Potentially receive an ability to protect yourself at night?
3. Another player in the game was approving or denying the request
4. Then request that you wanted to use the protection ability if and when you got approved for the ID

I also wasn't going to be around for the night because I was going to be AFK so I said I want to request a new ID but I don't want it to be during this day (a day where I was a cleared civ and wasn't going to be lynched) and waste the protection. So I said I wanted to request it that night and I believe Parlay said it didn't work that way? But then it did end up working that way even though I was AFK and my PMs were full because I came back and I survived a night hit?

Again I don't know if I was just not thinking through it correctly or what, but I was beyond confused about what the fuck was going on. I still don't think I get it.

I legit thought Tejas was maf 2. Like I was certain of it, so I vigged him. Ironically he was my personal BG but had just skipped town and become full civ so it worked out. Idk about you being hit though, I think that was maf 1.

Honestly i know the outcome looks wildly unbalanced but a lot went right for mafs/indy to get there.

How did Tejas become not aligned with the Indy anymore? Was that a choice and how does that work with him being still alive until Gooner vigged him?

Yeah, I think I needed to think more about the role instead of jumping it.

I mentioned in dead chat, but I completely missed Boston requesting a new identity because I was gone one night, I should have thought to auto-accept any offer if I don't respond within 15 minutes or something. Also, not knowing the total amount of money or what is and isn't possible, I knew I wouldn't be able to have time to go back and forth and negotiate - luckily only 1 person came back a second time.

This was a huge reason why I decided to silence numbers, he's the type of crazy loon that would have gone back to that and literally never let it go until I was dead. Seen that movie before, not a fan.
