I didn't retire and I could never hate you (but I did neg rep you because you know better). I didn't get to play but after reading, I want to mix it up a little. I was crazy on Mon and Tues and it was good I didn't play. Besides I'm old and feel strange watching adult cartoons. Like I'm pretty sure I would have liked Archer but I get shit as it is from my wife and kids for watching shit like The Challenge and Moonshiners. It was good to take a week off. Not sure about this week yet (Law school roomie in town til Tuesday) nor next week but that's just summer getting in the way.

Dude - I said you were good this game but it doesn't make you not an asshole. It likely helped you that I sat out so you wouldn't call me mafia and vote for me regardless of role. I'm like a shitty rollercoaster in this games - a couple highs, more lows but mostly a lot of flat ground. The difference is I know when I'm sucking, I can admit it and apologize for it. I also get a feel for when I'm playing well and I tend to get a little more assertive. This game, you played as well as anyone in the game til you tunneled on manning. The play, imo, would have been to lynch gooner (the supposed nilla) to test manning and his claim. But you played very well. Instead of saying TY to the folks complimenting you, you double down on the insults. 1 in 20 get a mild chuckle. I'm trying to help you be a better mafia player and more importantly, a better human. Just because I'm not very good doesn't mean I'm incapable of recognizing players that are (except in gouda's case --- that guy is sooooo overrated) :plos:

I don't expect you to listen but it's not going to stop me from making observations when I feel like it. Manning played very well too but you can't let it go. That's fine. UBU. Don't expect me not to be me.

That must have been when I was retired from the game. The only thing I've seen nonny be really fucking good at is patting himself on the back for no fucking reason. And doofus can play. That's not the insult you might have taken it as.

Blame the civs that remained who didn't question the validity of the gifts you got when they didn't show up in your role. Once it was revealed you weren't a JOAT, and with no civ claiming the gifts... it was obvious it came from mafia.



I actually think gooner made a mistake here by not claiming the gift giving, but the remaining civs were too dumb to connect the dots (high ryala, you big idiot)

Speaking of which, when did ryala get funny? I remember him being very good but quiet and serious. Similarly, when did Da become such a delight? I remember da but I think I used to get him confused with damo. But when I was reading today about da choosing his mason and picking ryala twice, I was jealous of GAT getting to be a fly on the wall in that chat.

I'm sort of a suque guy. By that I mean that I post in the politics thread with some #analysis and occasionally some Poli sci/econ papers, and rarely post anywhere else.

Da has always been a delight, he just had a cooler group of friends. Then Smiley, 7erps, hammer, and SLT all stopped playing so he had to come slum it with us losers.
 
Can I just say that I love everyone who plays mafia except gooner and bym

smiley is sooooo uncool. I've met that dude in really life (nice guy but...). 7erps might have been cool then. He is the current role model for: don't let this happen to you when you get married. SLT was part of a championship DI hoops team and chose the frosted tips look, need I say more. (hammer was, is and always will be cool)

Btw, we used to play occasionally on the jayhawk board back in the day. There were some unreal players on that board. Seanj, dxl, bigku, beakum, a few more.

Smiley, 7erps, and Hammer were all awesome. SLT had his moments, but he wasn't always the most conscientious player.
