2020 Presidential Election: Biden v. Trump

You'd think the popular vote would be a tiebreaker for Electoral College. Nope. We just go to a shitter version of the EC that gives one vote per state meaning a few people get one vote each and dozens of other people split a single vote.

My take on electoralism is based on my knowledge of electoralism, asshole. This might fucking surprise you, but I actually have beliefs and ideals beyond a guy I just learned about in 2015. I’ve been very open about my life’s experience on this board, experience which obviously informs my positions, so it’s fucking ridiculous and insulting for you to continue to claim that my political ideology is borrowed. On that note, why do I even bother with you when you consistently dismiss my intellect and sincerity every time you disagree with me?

To conclude - Bernie Sanders is over with. He can’t hurt you anymore, so stop using him as an excuse to be a condescending dickhead to people more radical than you.

So you just learned about Bernie Sanders in 2015? Whoa. That explains a lot.

Bernie doesn't hurt me. I voted for him in the 2016 primary. I have no issue with him. I think he should have run in 2004. It would have moved progressive causes forward even earlier. He's done a lot of good for American politics.

I have a problem with sore losers for whom progressive = Bernie. Sore losers like you. You seem to have backed off your stated support for electoralism since he lost. I'm saying that you're giving up and ignoring a major shift in political attitudes and demographics that could push policy forward. But none of that will matter if progressives give up on getting power in the government.

But I don't know why I bother. I make the same point and you pretend I said something else. You need lies to fuel your disdain for me. You'd got to make up some caricature to argue with instead of acknowledging I'm some guy who agrees with you on policy at like 95% but we disagree on tactics.

I am an establishment Dem so I ignore their rantings.

But to alot of middle USA the communism/socialism thing works, and when you have leftists talking communist revolution it plays into that fear.

The fear is not reasonable. Nothing Angus has ever posted in reasonable. Sailor had an anti-manning post once that made sense, but that's about it for those two.
 
I was driving down the highway yesterday in Cincinnati and saw a beat up truck flying a large American flag on one side of the bed and a large Trump 2020 flag on the other side of the bed. As I approached it, I saw that instead of the Trump 2020 flag saying "Make America Great Again", it said "Make Liberals Cry Again". As I passed the truck, the driver's window was open and he was a younger white man with ash or grease paint or some black substance smeared all over his face except for the large parts around his eyes. I couldn't tell if it was blackface or some form of war paint or he had just spent 7 hours in a chimney.

Regardless, people should be ready. Shit is going to get crazy come election time.

I still see Trumpites on facebook posting video clips of Hillary supporters crying the day after the 2016 election. It brings them so much joy. As others have pointed out, a major motivator for Republicans today is to own the libs - it's a giant trolling operation, among other things. Few things anger Trumpites more, or leave them more resentful, than to see liberals successful and/or happy, and few things make Trumpites happier than to see them upset, angry, or (hopefully) crying at another loss.
