Official Election Month Thread: COUP falls short, nothing to see here

tag: DeacMan the Trafalgar of vote counting

Yep saw that. The problem with that argument is that progressive ballot initiatives do better than centrist Democratic political candidates.

She's in a conservative district - Cantor's old district. They were running defund the police ads against Webb here in an even more conservative district. I don't mind a mix of progressives and moderates, but if you want to keep the house safely Dem, then you have to win some conservative districts. And Pubs are gonna use those wedge issues and tie Dem candidates to AOC. That shit works in conservative districts, and if you ran a progressive in that district, you'd get killed.

Georgia turns in another 3K and change of votes. Biden only gains 67. Take on all votes today drops from 65% down to 60%. Needs more than that to win.

They just held a press conference outlining the number of remaining outstanding votes by county. There were a couple of smaller red counties with some numbers. By and large the biggest remaining counties were metro Atlanta and Chatham which should bump up that average.

Fox News has the current number lower in PA, and the percentage of remaining votes is higher.

biden's camp has been consistent in believing they'll take PA

I did not start tracking this until closer to 10-11 central. CNN has been saying he needs like 63% of all the outstanding votes. If a new group comes in that goes more to Trump that moves the math on the take Biden needs from the remaining.

And my father in law, a retired telephone lineman, finally admitted it was because he was worried about the 401k That they live off of.

I hear this crap all the time, the returns in 09-10 the last time Dems had the white house and congress were some of the best ever

and your 401k is a damn passive investment that benefits from compound interest over 20-30+ years

a single fucking president shouldn't make or break will not break your retirement
