I've heard of all of these

Hard to believe these great 1994 albums didn’t make the list but Hootie and the Blowfish did. Not sure I want to be in the group chat.

Pavement - Crooked Rain Crooked Rain
Silver Jews - Starlight Walker
Luna - Bewitched
Sebadoh - Bakesale
Built to spill - There’s nothing wrong with love
Elliot Smith - Román candle
Jon Spencer’s Blues explosion - Orange
...

I haven't heard of any of these.

we were looking for bands heard in america

Oh, sorry, I thought the list was best albums, not a list of bands heard in America.

It’s ok buddy. If they haven’t heard of Pavement, don’t let their Hootie hurt you. You and me, we come from different worlds.

The US government should find some new acronyms for SEC and PAC. Very comfortable those of us looking for important college football information.

When I see a headline like “SEC May Pursue Fine Against Kushner” or something like that, I get all excited and wonder wtf he did and gain new found respect for Greg Sankey.

No, I’m not hurt, I feel bad for anyone that’s never heard Crooked rain crooked rain though.

What’s your fav 90’s alternative song? Not best, favorite.

I’m gonna go with Santa Monica by Everclear.

I'm more of a listen to a song and be all like "ohh yeah, cool song, I haven't heard that in awhile" kind of guy. So I'm sure I've heard and enjoy many of the artists you listed. I'm just not a big enough music guy to rattle off non mainstream bands/artists.
