But seriously, I’m surprised Matthew Hurt didn’t get drafted. He’s got upside as a rotation stretch 4.
 
It's the only brotherhood where every year you have to wear name tags because you don't know over half your brothers.

A 6-7 guard and self-described “Swiss Army knife,” Tubbs fits the prototypical wing position that’s become uber-valuable at a college and professional level. That versatility has been on full display in summer live periods, and it’s led to some prominent offers for the rising junior from Charlotte.

Tubbs has visited Cincinnati, Louisville, South Carolina and Wake Forest this summer; he also holds offers from ECU, Ole Miss, Providence and Texas A&M. Some of Tubbs’ top Peach Jam stat lines included 15 points, six rebounds and eight assists on July 16 and 17 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists on July 19.

2024 CG Jordan Vick, Southern Nash

How impressed was Steve Forbes’ Wake Forest staff with Vick? The Demon Deacons offered the 6-foot combo guard a scholarship before he’d played a single varsity basketball game. And Vick proved why: as a freshman at Southern Nash in Bailey, he averaged 18.1 points, 3.4 rebounds and 2.4 steals per game.

Vanderbilt and Florida have since offered Vick, who scored no fewer 14 points in a game last season and ranked among the NCHSAA’s top-scoring freshmen while shooting 45% from the field and 31% on 3-pointers. Vick also played in this month’s Peach Jam with the Maryland-based Team Durant 16U squad.

Nah, it's more likely that you just jinxed it with your "McKie is really banking those SC roots" comment 24 hours before Phillips trimmed his list.
 
So if you're a highly ranked recruit and you 100% know you're headed to somewhere like FSU, do you keep the Alabamas and Clemsons of the NIL world on the hook to extract as much cash as possible until the last minute?
 
This one was unexpected by people in the know.

There's more to it.

Wouldn't shock me if it had to do with NIL.
