Awake- those are super cute. My cousin was the crafts editor at Martha Stewart mag for a million years and she got married last summer. Her diy stuff was mind blowing. I am just a disaster. The best I did was making laminated tags w our logo for the flip flops.

Also- I always skip placebo, nothing happens. I go months skipping it w no period sometimes.

Woww I bet her stuff was amazing! I love the martha stewart wedding stuff and anything on theknot.com or weddingbee. It definitely saves some money but I've also dropped A LOT of money at Michael's. They should pay me for advertising for them!

as much as i like the idea of being a DIY bride, i don't think i'll be good at it because I'm WAYYYY too anal about crafty things and would just stress myself out if things didn't look perfect.

I WILL DO IT FOR YOU IF YOU LET ME I LOVE IT AND AM ALREADY SAD ABOUT IT BEING OVER IN 2 MONTHS

This is me. I tried in the beginning and came to terms w the fact that everything looked like a 5th graders art project.

well, see the thing is i'm actually quite crafty... but I like really complicated, technical projects. i want them to be PERFECT and i know I can get them there, but it takes a long time. i don't have time to do 150 of something PERFECTLY and won't settle for anything less.

I'm not crafty and can't do DIY projects, plus I'm way too anal. That is why I am thankful for my mom and sister. They are both extremely artistic and don't get caught up in small details like I do.

Hmmmmm.... Is there a way to sew on rhinestones? I'm not very rhinestone-savvy. But if so, you could maybe use felt on the bottom with a cross stitch fabric behind.

Interesting idea. I wonder how many rhinestones I would need. I'm also not sure how to get the detail of the design, I don't think I'd be able to get the knot looking thing in the middle.

I saw a few lacey/silver things at Joanns that I thought about buying, starching, and connecting a comb to.

So which one of you girls was class of '08, friends with DeacDixieBoy, and tutored in the AD? I already know 90% of you in real life, I think.

I think she is one of your friends, WakeGal. I am actually trying to figure out if any of your girl-friends are on the boards. When we used to hang out with you, you were mostly with the guys.

Nope, I definitely know WakeGal very well, I would say. She was at the tailgates almost as early as we were. She also brought the gin buckets.

That's weird because the first 2 are her. I'm not sure if she tutored but that seems very like her.

I think she matches all of those criteria, though, hence my guess. I guess I'm not sure about the tutoring.

fiancee beating me to it.

The birth control talk is funny to me. We prescribe them to millions and millions of girls and the understanding of what they are actually doing seems like Spanish to most girls.
