This day is absolutely dragging at this point. My go-to Friday night dinner order isn’t available until 5:30PM for pickup. Gonna bounce in a few minutes and find a spot to drink a few beers nearby so I’m in prime position to grab and go.

I'm about to fill up some growlers, then head over to some friends' prior to tonight's Billy Strings show. Then Deacs fuck duke tomorrow, and Billy Strings round 2 tomorrow. Boy's first trick or treat on Sunday. P nice weekend.

We have a regular Friday night “noodle night” tradition where we each get our favorite noodle dish, take an edible and hang out/do a fire/watch funny shit on TV. Wife likes a spicy ramen and I get a spicy/creamy noodle dish with grilled chicken from a Thai place that I love (though this is assuredly not actually a real Thai dish). We’ve got it down to an exact science where the orders are placed well in advance for pickup.
 
Also I have several flavors of Two Roosters in the freezer.
 
What Thai place do you order from? I’ve been enjoying Bua Thai on Fayetteville lately

I’ve been going to Thai Cafe in Rockwood for pretty much forever. Used to be my go-to lunch spot when I worked at ATC and there was NOTHING in the vicinity. So I’m pretty much a loyalist. The only downsides are that it’s not super convenient to get to and they don’t deliver.
 
I’ll have to check out the place you mentioned. My wife gets ramen from M Kokko and I really like that also but a bit too spicy for me for a full meal.

Do tell. Last time I had Two Roosters, I did a scoop of chocolate & a scoop of coffee bourbon and that was killer. Friend had the guest special Cheerwine crumble and that was surprisingly fantastic.
 
I see they’ve updated the guest series for fall and the cookie butter ice cream sounds delicious. Oreo + raspberry jam too.
