#1 QB Gunner Kiel decommits from Indiana

His brother goes there, yes. He's also from Indiana. I was surprised by his commitment but a bit more surprised by his decommitment. Didn't strike me as the kid that would back out of a verbal (at least from the articles I've read on him). But whatevs. IU football sucks.

He's an Indiana boy, his brother went there, and there was some optimism when Kevin Wilson was hired that he'd bring the same uptempo, QB-centric attack that he had at Oklahoma.
 
He lives 40 minutes outside of Bloomington and his brother Dusty is a QB on the team (he's started two games this year). He liked the offense that Kevin Wilson ran at Oklahoma and talked to Sam Bradford who told him that Wilson would prepare him for the NFL.

When Gunner committed, he talked about how the team was on the verge of becoming a winner. Since IU has beaten only SC State this season, his perspective on how close IU may be to being a winner has cearly changed.
 
I think I also saw that the QB from Alabama that committed to FSU over Alabama is leaning toward taking some additional visits.

Is it petty of me to hope that Gunner commits to Bama on signing day and Morris gets stuck without a chair?
 
Not petty at all since he would end up with a chair in our recruiting class.
 
i dont want any of my ex-wives back but i would take Morris back
