GATOR BOWL VS TEXAS A&M, psyche RUTGERS

Just stopped by the restaurant…they don’t do reservations but they did take my name and wrote down that we would be looking for 8 seats at 7 pm, ideally outside. I’ll try to get here a little early tonight as well.

Line is up to Deacs -16. Opened at -12. Lots of closing line value for those that jumped on WF. Could be 17 by kickoff.
 
Posted on the CT, but my lunch at Safe Harbor may have made this whole trip worthwhile.

I was seriously considering going to Safe Harbor today for lunch (and then subsequently going across the street to pick up plenty o' seafood for me to make at home). Ended up at Seven Bridges by Town Center instead.

I was picking up groceries this morning and was going to pick up shrimp to do some peel and eat at our rental, and it hit me, go to Safe Harbor for lunch and just buy the shrimp there.

Just got back from the pep rally, which (unsurprisingly) was sparsely attended. My son had a good time and got a high five from the Deacon.

Absolutely can't go wrong with Mayport shrimp. My office is on the other side of the river so I don't get to Safe Harbor as much as I'd like, but Chowder Ted's, Palms and Sandollar on the other side also have great shrimp.

As for the pep rally, I had no idea there was one, otherwise I'd have gone. Spent the afternoon catching up on some cleaning at my apartment while taking last minute requests for approvals from my sales team since today was our last day of the year. Oh well.
 
I saw several Wake Forest identified cars stuck in the same horrible traffic on I95 South in SC as us-- It took two hours to get through it all, so we missed the pep rally which we wanted to attend. Had a fun meal at the Dockside restaurant.
 
Yeah that traffic was something hellish. I was stop and go from the I26/I95 interchange in SC till I cleared Savannah.
 
haven’t been in traffic that bad in awhile but the gator bowl eve party was solid, makes you realize how mediocre of a stadium the Panthers have compared to the Jags (and Falcons / most other NFL teams), love that we have an AD like Currie mingling with everyone at these events

SC needs to make their interstates 3 lanes pronto - or get booted from the US.
 
That was an awesome dinner and then drinks (at my hometown bar too!) tonight with a bunch of us!
 
Agreed. Good time. Good call on the rooftop bar.

It’s unfortunate that 11 am is way too early for a football game. Had to get back and try to get some sleep. Got a long day tomorrow.
 
I’ve got a feeling that attendance at this game may be sparse.
