Thought crossed my mind too. Hope not, but several on this board were very rough on him for a while. Next game game may reveal more.

He hasn’t touched the court since that stupid turn over at Clemson late in game. On that possession they were down 1, Whitt turned it over while trying to be fancy with the dribble, Clemson hit a 3 went up 4 points and never looked back. IMO, Forbes could be making an example out of him. Put the team first and don’t worry about having a highlight on Sportscenter.

Dude has only been playing ACC ball for 1.5 years. Gotta give him 3 or 4 more years to show you.

Which is really strange, because last season he was OK to good at this level.
 
The NIT needs to increase the officiating budget. This crew was awful. Most of the Towson “traps” were aided and abetted by fouling.
 
ESPN I assume waits to see their options before filling in the time slots. Like to believe a VCU/Wake game would be on national tv. I’d guess around noon tip time.
 
Why do we have another thread for the NIT? Would it not work just as well here? Possibility of a merge?

At this point, we are who we are. Our top 2 guys don’t value the basketball and the others aren’t good enough to avoid turnovers.

If he wanted to make a point about trying for sportscenter highlights, he could start with Williams.
 
Whitt may have told Forbes he is transferring ....or Forbes has just lost all confidence in him and the clemson game was the last straw. Or both could be true.

One thing that is obvious as the nose on my face....we need a true point guard from the portal for next year. It's our biggest need by far.
 
No mention of Whitt at all during the radio call.

Stan must know the details.
 
Yeah Whitt has to be transferring. Hildreth is overall a better player but he was atrocious against the press. Even with Whitt’s troubles he’d have been far more effective handling the ball.

This team has no point guard, it’s definitely painful at times. Funny to see Monsanto simply not telegraph his passes then whip them to our outlet guys no problem. That kid sees the floor and the ball really well.
 
Alondes had zero turnovers tonight. 2nd time this year
 
ManMan had zero turnovers tonight which is kind of weird.
