2021-22 Men's College Basketball Season - UNC v. Kansas for the Natty

I hate UNC more, so sure, that would be fine if it meant UNC got bounced by StP.

But obviously not going to happen
 
We were the turning point for UNC’s season. That’s somehow the worst part of all of it.
 
I haven't watched since the round of 32, and now I think I might not watch college basketball ever again. This is just the worst.

I used to down talk Bacot. Now I think he is just really good.

It's only StP but 20/22 line is nice.

Need him to come up big for 1 more game and then lose in the finals.
 
As we all could have guessed, UNC vs. Duke is the late game on Saturday.
 
I'll watch because I'll either head over to a friend's house or invite some other friends over. Not the first time I'll be pissed while watching a national semi-final between power teams. Won't be the last.
 
The only good thing to come out of this Duke-UNC final 4 matchup is that one of the insufferable fanbases is going to have to forever deal with losing to their arch rival on the biggest stage...

The triangle area has been waiting for this to happen for 40 years - the whole region might go up in flames from the sheer stress. As much as we can't stand both of these teams, that feeling can't hold a candle to the intensity with which those fanbases dislike each other.

Sure, but for now I can't stand that both fanbases are happy and Wake didn't even make the dance.

Villanova, Kansas and Duke chose to continue to play in grand old, campus size appropriate venues a couple decades ago.

Despite considerable success in the '90s and huge growing demand for a 15K seat Spokane civic center, Gonzaga went with a 6K seat campus cracker box in 2003.

Those have all proven to be shrewd decisions.

What I hate the most is that, once again, ACC success equals Duke and UNC. That is one reason I was really pulling for Miami.
