Because there’s a shortage of conservative media?

They’re never going to be your friend, NYT. The smart thing to pursue go the other way to move away from a white liberal metropolitan subscriber base by going after urban an rural Black and Latino populations, growing Asian west coast and suburbanites, and other groups underserved by traditional media.

That's the same problem Democrats make constantly. They try to win over the people that hate them instead of being bold in their beliefs.

Yeah. That’s why a state legislator went viral for simply saying she’s not a pedophile. It’s rare for Democrats to be bold even saying something obvious.
 
What research do they have confirming this is what America wants? They get roasted whenever they post Ohio diner stories and wishy washy columns from rich OWGs. Do they think the NYT Pitch Bot Twitter account is serious? Maybe they should just hire that guy to tell them what to write.
 
LOL at research. Any research they're doing is in those same diners. It's rich white guys who only think there's two ways to present the world, white liberal and white conservative.
 
And just like that, the NYT has a profile of Chris Rufo, the guy almost single-handedly the originator of the CRT scam. Sure they criticize his politics, but they visit his home and have flattering photographs and thus giving him a platform to amplify his deplorable beliefs.
 
The NY Times has an obituary today for former GOP Senator Orrin Hatch. The wording of the obituary is quite...contradictory.

"Throughout his Senate years, Mr. Hatch had been a gentlemanly conservative rock. He blocked labor law reforms and fair housing bills with filibusters, tying up Senate business for weeks. He voted against the Equal Rights Amendment, which would have enshrined gender equality as a bedrock civil right, and he proposed a Constitutional amendment to make abortion illegal."

But remember, folks, he was "gentlemanly" and a really nice guy despite doing all of those things!
 
I guess they used gentlemanly to mean patriarchal.

He is a loathsome turd of a man, but he's probably done more to drive the political conversation over the past year than almost anybody. And yet many Democrats seem to continue to pretend that he doesn't exist, or that if they just ignore him his messaging will just all go away.

My God, the Times actually did an "interview with white right-wing small-town diners" piece in...France, for their presidential election. They interviewed Le Pen supporters who feel "neglected" and "ignored" by Macron. And in a small-town French cafe no less. LOL.

Of course, Le Pen got clobbered by Macron while NYT was chasing a fringe.
 
I don't think the takeaway from the French election should be "Macron Landslide !"
