Official thread about the movie you just saw

Still haven't seen it. Was not available on any streaming network. Not ready to PAY

but you'll pay for scholarly journals about medieval peasant scribblings

i see how it is

who knows. it was expensive and probably hard as hell to film. not quite successful enough to launch a franchise based on nautical filming and practical effects.

let us all be grateful it exists at all, i suppose

Google keeps showing me an article where Ethan Hawke said that Russell Crowe "broke" Peter Weir during M&C filming, and Weir apparently never directed again.

Weir did make another movie 7 years later but is now retired. But that story definitely tracks from what I’ve read about Crowe.

the wife and i watched "everything everywhere all at once". we thought the movie had potential at first, but by the end we couldn't wait for it to be over...2* (out of 5).

having said that, it was great to Ke Huy Quan acting again!

Saw the new BJ Novak movie. Some parts were cringeworthy, but I liked it enough. I am an easy grader though. Some clever lines in there.
